Phyllis B. Johnson, 54 of Raleigh, NC passed on March 7, 2019 at Duke Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh, NC.
She leaves to cherish her memory and continue her legacy of love and strong belief in family: her husband, Robert Johnson; sons, Bobby (Bj) Johnson and Sheldon Wood, both of Raleigh, NC; daughters, Lavett Williams-Stanley (Coray) of Garner, NC, and Amanda Johnson of Raleigh, NC; brothers Isaac Beckwith of Apex, NC and James Harrington Jr., (Teresa) of Holly Springs, NC; stepsister, Margaret Ann Hunter of Apex, NC; mother, Dora Odell Moore Harrington of Apex, NC; grandchildren, Sequoya Turner, Amiree Stanley, Demya Wilkins, Ceanni Hicks, Kamani Johnson, Kaniyah Johnson and Keqwon Johnson; special friends, Barbara Ford Jenkins and Andrena Hackney; cousin, Vickie Moore Stewart; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation: 12:00 - 7:00 pm Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Trice Funeral Home Chapel, 127 N. West Street in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.
Wake: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Holly Springs United Church of Christ in Holly Springs, NC 27540.
Funeral will be held 12:00 pm Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Holly Springs United Church of Christ, 116 3rd Street in Holly Springs, NC 27540 ( Rev. Jamal H. Brown, Pastor)
Burial: UCC Cemetery in Holly Springs, NC.

Hello Johnson Family, I'm a neighbor living in the area. Having heard of your most recent, and very tragic loss, I want to leave you a brief post. I too, well know the grief of losing love ones, and that at times like these, it is encouraging just to know that others are thinking about us. To Robert and family, Our hearts go out to our neighbor and friend in the passing of your wife, and to the children in the passing of your mother, and to her mother & brother in the passing of their love one. Phyllis will be greatly missed, she was a good neighbor. I can say that she fought a good fight and she didn't let anything or anyone stop her. I know it hurt and she will be missed by all that loved her. No more pain, no more sickness, no more sorry.
