Obituary For Nevin Louise Ellison

MRS. NEVIN LOUISE ELLISON – Age 90, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2019. She is preceded in death by her mother, Flora Mae Kenion Moore, father, Forrest Scott Moore, sisters, Hortense, Vera, Flora, and Novella, and brothers, Walter, James, Leaonard, and Marvin.

She is survived by her daughter; Gwendolyn (James) Mathews; two grandchildren, Steven Chaney and DeNorris (Jessica) Johnson; three great grandchildren, Aiden Johnson, Kaylee Hooper, and Brody Hooper; three sisters, Rebecca Moore, Martha Jones, all of Dalton, Georgia, and Myra (Tony) Lawrence of Decatur, Georgia; a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 15, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Mountain Ridge Baptist Church, 1401 Martin L. King, Jr. Blvd. Dalton, Georgia, 30721, with Dr. Jerry D. Jones, Sr. as Eulogist and Dr. Paul Starling officiating. Mrs. Ellison will lie in state at the funeral home on Thursday after 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour. Interment, West Hill Cemetery.
