Alex Streater, 44, of Columbus, GA passed on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 in Columbus, GA.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. EST on Saturday, June 13, 2026 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Williams, officiating. Burial to follow at Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church in the Charnel Guardian of Rest. Public viewing will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. EST on the day of service.

Alex was a sweet soul who filled our lives with lots of love and laughter. His warmth and kindness touched everyone he met. He will be dearly missed and his spirit will live on in our hearts.

Alex departed this earthy life on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Cynthia Austin and two brothers, Toney Streater and Jeffery Streater.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted partner; Ashante Thomas of Columbus, GA; three daughters, Jalesse Perry and Tamyah Watson all of Columbus, GA and Jameria Garvin of Phenix City, AL; one son, Anthony Radcliffe of Columbus, GA; mother, Peggy Streater of Columbus, GA; father, Tom Streater of Tampa, FL, five sisters, Sheila Williams-Jones (Marion) of Salem, AL, MaryAnn Robertson and Brenda Jefferson (Robert) all of Columbus, GA, Jacqueline Landers of Atlanta, GA and Marshanna Streater of Tampa, FL, two step-sisters, Keyshia Pugh (Joe) of St. Petersburg, FL and Franiesha Moore (Tony) of Tampa, FL; one step-brother, Antonio Davis of Tampa, FL, four aunts, Josephine Landers of Columbus, GA, Lizzie Pugh of Detroit, MI, Bertha Pugh of Newnan, GA, Juanita O'Neal (Robert) of Union Springs, AL; five uncles; Noah Landers of Milwaukee, WI, Amos Landers of Columbus, GA, Ervin Landers, Earnest Landers and Wardell Landers all of Detroit, MI, four great-aunts, Mattie Armstrong (Clay), Barbara Rivers, Willie Mae Williams, Rosie Rolle (Nathan); five great-uncles, Wiley Streater (Ester), Tom Streater Jr. (Georgia), Alaska Streater, Joe Lewis Harris (Julianne) all of Tampa, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
