Kelvin James Cooper Sr. was born March 27, 1978 in Greenwood, MS to Willie Mae Cooper and Willie James Morris. He departed his earthly life June 1st, 2024 in Nashville, TN.

Kelvin worked in manufacturing and security throughout his life and was a security guard at the Nashville Rescue Mission in Nashville, TN. at the time of his death.

Kelvin enjoyed spending time with his kids, enjoying his family and friends, and watching true crime shows.

Kelvin is survived by his parents, Willie Mae Cooper and Willie James Morris: three sons, Kelvin James Cooper Jr., Kevonte Boone, and Alex Bradford: 1 grandchild, Hope Bradford; three sisters, Latonya Cooper, Virginia Jones, and Chandra Cooper: 3 brothers, Christopher Clay, Johnny Robinson, and Cervontez Hicks (Waustella): a forever friend, Brittany Jenkins: and cousin/2nd mom, Ms. Catherine Jordan.

Aunts: Rena Jackson, Lever Thompson, (Laverne), and Uncle (Jessie) Turner. A host of nieces, nephews cousins, and friends.
