Obituary For Mr. Archie Lee McCollum

Archie Lee McCollum, son of the late Great Makum and Lottie McCollum was born in Dillon County, South Carolina on May 4, 1957. He answered the Master’s call on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at the McLeod Medical Center in Dillon, South Carolina.

Archie Lee was educated in Dillon County Schools System. He was a loving father and a devoted brother. His favorite passion was gardening. He was also the life of any party. He will truly be missed but not forgotten.

Archie Lee was preceded in death by his step-mother: Maggie McCollum; a sister: Martha McRae; five bothers: Jessie McCollum, Makum Lee McCollum, Jule McCollum, Ronnie Wilson, Andrew Wilson; a brother-n-law: Willie McLellan and two sisters-n-law: Sally M. McCollum and Brenda McCollum.

Archie Lee leaves to cherish his memories~ two children: Laysel Brown of Dillon, SC, Annazetta Yao of Bronx, NY; eight sisters: Mae Nancy McLellan, Cuba Hargrove, Lottie McCollum, Mary (Milton) Quick, Angela Singletary, Deborah (Ronald) German, Sandra Singletary, Felicia McCollum; twelve bothers: Willie McCollum, Alfonza (Carolyn) McCollum, Chuck (Cassandra) McCollum, Randy (Melissa) McCollum, Bobby (Linda) Singletary, Edward (Darlene) Roberts, William Inman, Michael (Terrell) Singletary, Anthony (Melissa) Singletary, Jermaine (Talesha) McCollum, James D. Bethea, Gerald (Debra) Inman, Julius Inman, Reginald McCollum, Jeffery (Renalda) McCollum and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives that he loved dearly and friends.
