Memorial services for Mr. Jimmy Ray Alford will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 1:00PM in the Chapel of Enterprise Funeral Home.

Mr. Alford, 72, retired as an Federal Bureau Correctional Counselor in Miami, FL. He recently moved his residence here in Meridian, MS. He passed at his residence on May 29, 2026. He leaves to cherish his memories 1 son, Jimmy (Kiaura) Alford of Meridian; 2 daughters, Ann (Michael) Lafferty of Oklahoma City, OK and Ellen Alford of Homestead, FL; 5 brothers, Willie L. Alford, Eddie Alford and Jerry Alford of Meridian, MS, Gary Alford of Bay Springs, MS and Lemarcus Alford of Lismon, AL. He also leaves 7 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

There will be a family burial in Zion Hill CME Cemetery in the Sandflat Community after the memorial service. Enterprise Funeral Home was entrusted with the final arrangements.
