Denise K Creekmur
August 8, 1963 — June 4, 2026

Denise Karin Creekmur (Jorden) was born on August 8, 1963, in Summit, NJ, to the late Sidney and Marsha Jorden. She was 62 years old. She matriculated through the Township of Union school system, graduating in 1981.

Denise, or "Sissy" as she was affectionately known by family and friends, accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior at an early age and was never afraid to spread the gospel. Part of her ministry was healing through her hands as a massage therapist. While visiting Paris, TN, in 2021 she felt God calling her to put down roots there, and she became an active and beloved member of the Church in Paris community.

Her adventurous spirit and diverse career path took her as far as Manila, Philippines in the early 2000s. Her entrepreneurial drive and mission to heal led her to launch her own business, Guided Hands Spa. Denise joined Golden Rule Chapter #50 OES-PHA in 2013 and she was former member of Golconda Court #16 from the Class of 2014 (Ibani Thema) where she served as class President.

Denise never met a stranger — her easy warmth and gift of gab let her find a spark of connection with everyone she encountered.

She transitioned from this life on June 4, 2026, after facing a multitude of health challenges with grace and unwavering faith — and through it all, Glory was her Story.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, DeShaun Creekmur (Noelle) of Hillsboro, NJ, Jason Creekmur (Elise) of Atlanta, GA, and Shanise Creekmur (Kelly) of Covington, GA; granddaughters Natalia and Kelise; sister Danielle Jorden-Ellis (Reggie) of Owings Mills, MD; nieces Destini, Karisma and Riley; aunts Penelope Hayes (Charles), Misfiri Bey, and Patricia Hall (Stacey); and a host of cousins and friends.
