Prophetess Sylvia “Gret” Roberts Whitaker, 68, wife of Ronald E. Whitaker, died Sunday, June 7, 2026, at her residence, 1181 Jassmine Way, Manning, SC. She was born November 22, 1957. A daughter of the late Scott and Kate Brunson Roberts.

Public viewing will be held 4:00 PM til 6:00 PM Sunday, June 14, 2026, from the Hayes F. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning, SC.

Celebratory services will be held 3:00 PM Monday, June 15, 2026, from the Green Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 1260 Green Hill Church Rd, Alcolu, SC. Burial will follow in the Churchyard Cemetery.

The family is receiving friends at her residence on June 11th til June 13th from the hours of 3:00 PM til 8:00 PM.
