Leotis Wilson, Jr. was born on June 4, 1963, in Jefferson County, Georgia, to the late Leotis Wilson, Sr. and Darlean Wilson. He peacefully departed this life, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, dedication, and love for his family.
Celebration of Life services will be held Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Davis Funeral Home, James and Virginia Davis Chapel.
Interment will be held at the Brinson Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, 493 South Main Street, Wadley, GA
Public viewing will be held Friday, June 12th from 3:00 – 6:00 P.M.
A proud member of Wadley High School's Class of 1983, Leotis went on to build a successful career with Georgia Power, where he faithfully served for more than 15 years. Throughout his career, he was respected for his strong work ethic, dependability, and commitment to excellence. His colleagues and friends admired his dedication and the integrity he brought to everything he did.
Leotis was preceded in death by his parents, Leotis Wilson, Sr. and Darlean Wilson, and his brother, James Wilson.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved children, Sierra Wilson and Bryan Wilson of Summertown, Georgia; his sisters, Brenda Wilson and Lisa Wilson of Augusta, Georgia, and Stacie (Stephen) Robbins of Pooler, Georgia. He also leaves behind his cherished nieces, Tierra Fye and Ari Darleana Perez of Augusta, Georgia; nephews, Fredrich Fye of Augusta, Georgia, Gregory Kemp, Jr. and Maurice Watson of Atlanta, Georgia; godchildren: Gabrielle Holloway, Mariella Harmon and Ghavyn Harmon; as well as a host of loving great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were touched by his kindness and presence.
Leotis will be remembered for his quiet strength, caring spirit, and unwavering devotion to his family. He valued the relationships he shared and found joy in supporting and encouraging those he loved. Though he will be deeply missed, the love, memories, and values he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
