It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Vandon Rupert Jones, Jr.

Vandon R. Jones, Jr., 69, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2026. Funeral service will be 11 AM, Friday, June 12, 2026, at Bethel M.B. Church, with burial at the Tallahassee National Cemetery. Wake Service is scheduled for Thursday, June 11th from 6-7 PM at Strong & Jones Chapel. The Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Public Memorial Service will follow at 7 PM.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 3-7 PM, at 3307 Wheatley Road, Tallahassee, FL.

Left to cherish his love, legacy and memory are his daughters, Vontese Preston and Vadon Jones and host of other relatives and friends.
