First of all, I would like to express my condolences to the Calhoun/Winn Family. My special appreciation of Elaine, is for her consistency in keeping my friends and myself in church, in the Bethel AME choir. I truly believe that this helped shape me into who I am today through the seed planted into our lives when we were youth. Much peace to the family.

She was my moms best friend for so many years. We grew up always calling her aunt Elaine no matter what she always had a big smile on her face. She was Definetly a shining light. She was loved by many and will remain in our hearts always.Mom has her friend back now and I know they are both looking down on us and catching up with each other like old friends do. Love and prayers to uncle Herman and the kids may God bless u all with comfort and strength through this sorrowful time..

Elaine was my soul sister in Christ. She was such a joy to be around and loved by everyone. She was such an inspiration to me in my Christian walk and we spent lots of time on the Hamilton maternity unit together. We know we will be reunited someday since we have that promise of eternal life thru Christ. We love you, Harvey Wages, MD7J93A9

I was so blessed to have known and worked with Elaine! She had so many gifts and talents as a nurse and a person, but one of her biggest memories of mine was her infectious smile and personality. I believe her caring, compassionate spirit is what truly made ALL of her patients love her dearly! It was honor and I am a better nurse for having worked with Elaine. God bless her family and friends during this time. She will be missed. Lisa Leamon
