Daisy W. Carrington, 91, departed this life on Sunday, March 17, 2019.
Funeral service will be at Holloway Memorial Funeral Home, 2502 NC Hwy 55, on Friday, March 22, 2019, at 12:00 noon, visitation at 11:00 am.

To the family. Daisy was not only a resident I cared for but she became my friend. She would be having a bad day and the smile she gave me when I walked in her room gave me validation I was a great caregiver. Her room gave me piece of mind when I went in there to talk to her. When I would leave she said "Where you going" I told her I was coming back.I would be busy walking the halls and she would "say hey girl where you going come back". I always made my way back before I left to give her piece of mind. All in all I'm going to miss her dearly. She brought joy to our hearts. To the family this should not be a homegoing but a celebration of her life. "Mrs. Daisy" Rest peacefully my love. Shakila
