It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Charles Sermon.

Funeral services will be 2 PM, Saturday, June 20, 2026, at New Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church, with burial at Zion Hill Cemetery.

Charles Terrance Sermon, known as “Leroy,” was born in Tallahassee, Florida on February 17, 1968. He was the oldest of son of Geraldine “Irene” Williams and Francis Sermon, both of whom proceeded him in death.

Charles was converted under Pastor Dr. Anton G. Elwood in 2008. He completed his twelfth-grade education and was employed by The Social Seminole Apartments since 2018.

Charles is lovingly remembered by his two sons, Javar Sermon and Zion Sermon; his daughter, Trichelle Sermon; his grandchildren, Kayden Sermon and Kylie Sermon; and his siblings, Jeffrey Williams, Barry Sermon, and Pamela Sermon; two aunts, Betty Jean Williams and Elisabeth Chambers; one uncle, James Williams, Sr. (Dora), and a host of cousins and friends.
