Mr. Ray Louis Surratt, Sr. age 64 of Shelby, NC departed this life on June 15, 2026 at his residence. He was born on April 25, 1962 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Robert Surratt and Azelee Muldrow Surratt.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 19, 2026 at 1:30 PM at Hopper’s Chapel Baptist Church. Burial will be at Sunset Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:30 PM on Friday at the church and at other times at the home.
