Mother Minnie Mae Whitaker, 97, of Tallahassee, gained her wing on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.

Funeral services will be 12 PM, Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Greater Mt. Zion P. B. Church, 1819 Saxon Street, with burial at Southside Cemetery. Viewing/Visitation will be Tuesday, June 23, 2026, from 12 Noon to 6 PM, at Strong & Jones Funeral Home.
