Mr. Calvin Edgar Bryant, 68, transitioned from this earthly life on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Medical Center in High Point, NC. He was born in Fayetteville, NC, to the late Jarandus Lee Bryant and Lillie Ruth Mason Bryant. He was reared in High Point, NC.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Shy’nasiah Wilson, and two sisters: Betty Jean Bryant and Gretchen Ann Thomas.

Calvin attended High Point Central High School, where he played football. He worked as a forklift operator in the furniture industry. He was a member of Friendship Holiness Church in High Point, NC.

He was united in marriage to Elizabeth Wilson Bryant of Dillon, SC. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing and gardening.

He leaves to cherish his memories: three children, Marcus Wilson, Terence Wilson, and Rayshon Wilson, all of High Point, NC; he also leaves behind eleven grandchildren, Qui’Sandra Wilson-Little, Quandarries Wilson-Little, Shondarrius Wilson-Little, Messiah Gibson, Promisey Gibson, A’kya Baker, Ty’Asia Wilson, Isaiah Moore, Jakeyvon Rainy, Prosperous Sapp, Zy’mere Dewey; one sister, Donna Mae Miller; three brothers, Jerry Lee Bryant, Floyd Bryant and William Harvey Bryant (Betty); sisters-in law; brothers-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at Friendship Holiness Church. Interment will follow at Guil-Rand Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
