Ruby Imogene Woolf, 96 of Bowie, TX, passed away Tuesday, June 16th, 2026, in Fort Worth, TX.
Graveside services will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 22nd, at Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie, with Stacey Barber officiating.
Ruby was born on May 18, 1930, in Atoka, OK to John and Ella (Green) Anderson. She graduated from Bowie High School in 1946. In 1948 Ruby married Glen Doil Woolf and together they had 3 children. She went to work for Texas Instruments in 1957 and retired in 1976. She then worked for Nocona Boots, starting in 1977 and retired after 10 years. Ruby enjoyed working her 30 acres of land, gardening and watching the deer and turkey.
She is preceded in death by her son, Jackie Woolf, and husbands Olan Woolf and Glen Doil Woolf.
Ruby is survived by her daughters, Tana Woolf of Bowie, and Glenna Haggard and husband Terry of Lewisville, TX; grandchildren, Tammy Hite and husband Kent of Copper Canyon, TX and Bryan Haggard and wife Shonna of Corsicana, TX; great-grandchildren, Blayne Haggard and Shelby Newman and husband Lyle; and great-great-granddaughter Lainey Rae Newman.
