Conrado Gutierrez Obituary

Conrado Gutierrez, 85, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026, in South Carolina. He was born on February 10, 1941, in Placetas, Cuba. A man of faith, Conrado is now at peace with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Conrado came to the United States in 1960 and proudly served in the United States Army, becoming a veteran of the U.S. military. Before coming to the United States, he attended art school in Cuba, where he earned a degree in art. His creativity and talent remained a meaningful part of who he was throughout his life.

In November 1962, Conrado was set up on a blind date with Migdalia Perez Gutierrez who would become his wife. They married and shared 56 wonderful years together until her passing in 2020. Together, they built a life filled with love, family, and lasting memories. They lived in New Jersey for many years before relocating to North Carolina in 2019.

Conrado is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Miriam Paz, and son-in-law, Luis Paz; his son, Conrad Gutierrez, and daughter-in-law, Catalina Perez; and his grandchildren, Chelsie Gutierrez and Tamara Gutierrez. He is also survived by his sisters, Grace Hana and Mabel Gutierrez; his brother-in-law, Maurice Hana, as well as many cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss him greatly.

Conrado will be remembered for his service, his artistic spirit, his devotion to his family, and the love he shared with those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Cremation services will be held at Parker Funeral Home in Rock Hill, South Carolina
