Minister Rita Faye Broaden Green, a resident of Pike Road, AL passed away on June 18, 2026. The funeral service will be held, Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Freewill Missionary Baptist Church, 1724 Hill Street, Montgomery, AL 36108, Rev. Quentin Q. Byrd, Pastor. Rev. Sederick Fluker, Senior Pastor of Bell Resurrected Baptist Church, will be the eulogist. Entombment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery with the staff of E. G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday, June 26, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Minister Green will lie in repose one hour before the funeral service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the House of Greek Memorial Fund to honor Rita's legacy.
