Obituary For Virginia Wright
Virginia Lee Wright, 88, of Briggs St., Harrisburg transitioned into eternal life on Saturday, March 9, 2019 in the peace and love of her home.
She was born in Moncks Corner, SC, daughter of the late Joe and Lillie Mae (Washington) Thompson, a graduate of Harrisburg School District, retired from Harrisburg Dress Factory and a former member of New Jerusalem A.M.E. Zion Church. Virginia was preceded in death by her son, John H. Wright and leaves to celebrate her life, her daughter, Carrie McArthur; grandchildren, Dionne Fulton and Shaun McArthur; her great-grand, Shauntae; her brother, Joe Thompson, Jr. and a host of other relatives and friends. Virginia's life will be celebrated on Thursday, March 21 at 12 Noon in the Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton, with visitation 11:30 a.m. until Noon and burial in Paxtang Cemetery.
