Memorial service for Andrew Tyner, 72, of Opelika, AL, will be at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Harris Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Tyner, who passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at Opp Health and Rehabilitation in Opp, Alabama, was born January 15, 1954, in Macon County, Alabama.

“Bug”, as he was affectionately known by family and friends, graduated from Beauregard High School Class of 1972. He enjoyed watching sports and attending ball games. Andrew was self-employed in the cleaning service and was known as a hard worker. He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be remembered for his soft-spoken tone.

He leaves to cherish his memory: a cousin as a sister, Mary Williams of Opelika, AL; a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of the late Mr. Andrew Lee Tyner, Jr. acknowledges with grateful appreciation all acts of kindness, prayers, cards, telephone calls, flowers, and words of comfort extended to us during our time of bereavement. May God bless each of you.
