It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Betty Jean Ford.

Betty Jean Ford, 73, of Tallahassee, FL, was summoned home by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, surrounded by family. Funeral services will be 11 AM, Sat., June 27, 2026 at Concord A.M.E. Church (6658 Veteran's Memorial Drive), with burial at the church cemetery. Viewing/Visitation will be Friday, June 26, 2026, from 12 Noon to 6 PM at Strong & Jones Funeral Home.
Her memories will always be cherished by her sons, Phillip and Shawn Ford; her siblings, Catherine Brown, Geneva Wyche (Daniel), Elder Ruby Hayes (Bill) and Sam Ford; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
