CHARLES LENBUR PATILLO, son of the late John West and Martha Jane Pettus Patillo, was born April 20, 1962, in Mecklenburg County, VA and departed this life June 19, 2026, in VCU-MCV Hospital, Richmond, VA. He was also preceded in death by his siblings- John, Charlie, James Wesley, Larry and George Patillo.

Charles attended Mecklenburg County Public Schools and later moved to New York for employment. He was employed by Keyfood Supermarket for many years until he decided to move back to Virginia. Afterwards, he started working at Butler Lumber Company for many years. In his spare time, he loved to cook and be around his family.

Charles leaves to mourn: three brothers- Bernard Patillo of Brodnax, VA; Jackie Lee and Robert Patillo of LaCrosse, VA; one sister- Mary Patillo of LaCrosse, VA; children he helped reared- Javon C. Patillo, Yasmen C. and Jalen M. Frost, all of South Hill, VA; devoted friend- Yvonne Frost of the home.
