It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. John Henry Jones.

Funeral services will be Monday, June 29, 2026 at Strong & Jones Chapel, with burial at Mt. Zion Cemetery (Miller Landing Road).

John was a native of Tallahassee, Florida. He received formal education in the public schools of Leon County.

He was an airport attendant at Tallahassee International Airport.

Cherishing his life is his son, Johnathan Jones (Carrisa); brothers, McKinley Jones and Keithier Jones; sisters, Andraleon Jones and Carolyn Yusuf; seven grandchildren, Johnathan, Jr., Jenesis, Jordan, Jade Jayla Jeremy and Jeremiah Jones and a host of other relatives and friends.
