OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1049 N. Washington St., Opelousas, LA for Mrs. Annie Bell Rosette Reed, 68, who entered eternal rest on Friday, June 19, 2026 at her residence in Opelousas, LA.

Pastor Norlan Arvie, Pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church, will be officiating the funeral service.

Mrs. Reed’s memories are being cherished by: one son, Corey S. Rosette of Opelousas, LA; one daughter, Ebony Rosette of Opelousas, LA; two brothers, Ronald Rosette of Opelousas, LA and Gregory Rosette of Lake Charles, LA; four sisters, Charlene Rosette of Baton Rouge, LA, Judy Rosette and Mildred Rosette, both of Opelousas, LA and Susan Rosette all of Metairie, LA; three grandchildren, Mikal Andrus of Opelousas, LA, Heaven Townsend of Killeen, TX and Tyler Bell of Lafayette, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her husband, Joseph R. Reed; her parents, Dallas Lazard and Annie Mae Rosette; one brother, Ray Rosette; one grandson, Corey Rosette, Jr.; grandparents, Octave Rosette, Sr. and Annie Ree Dunbar-Rosette; two uncles, Lee and Octave Rosette; and three aunts, Laura Mae Woods, Hazel Thomas and Barbara Jean Rosette.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church.
