Jesse W. Niblett, 72, of Halfway Dr., Martinsville, Va., transitioned on Monday, March 18,2019 at Moses Cone Hospital Select, Greensboro, N.C. He was born January 14, 1947 in Virginia to the late Lucy Bowles Niblett and the late Lucius W. Niblett.

Jesse leaves to cherish his memories, Trekeyta W. Niblett of the home; one son, Jason O. (Angie) Niblett; one granddaughter, Ja'La C. Niblett all of Collinsville, Va., three sisters, Dorothy Kidd, Hazel Kidd, and Beverley Jennings all of Martinsville, VA.; a surrogate grandson, De'Mario Mattox of Martinsville, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.

He was a member of Galilean House of Worship. Jesse retired from Eastman as a maintenance worker.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 21, 2019 and Friday, March 22, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the residence, 255 Halfway Rd., Martinsville, VA. The visitation will be 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Galilean House of Worship, 5078 A L Philpott Hwy, Martinsville, VA. The funeral will follow at 1:00 p.m.

Burial will be in Carver Memorial Gardens, Martinsville, VA
