OFFICIAL NOTICE OF EARTHLY TRANSITION: Mr. David Thomas Silva, of Valdosta, Georgia

It is with humble submission to the will of God, that we stand alongside this loving family, to announce the earthly transition of Mr. David Thomas Silva, a beloved resident of Valdosta, Georgia, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at the age of 73.

Mr. Silva was born on January 8, 1953, during a time when the world was experiencing a season of change and transformation, a generation marked by resilience, sacrifice, and determination. Born into an era that would witness great moments in history, Mr. Silva’s life reflected the values of commitment, service, and dedication.

A proud servant of his country, Mr. Silva honorably served in the United States Military, answering the call to protect and serve. His commitment to duty and country stands as a lasting testament to his character, courage, and willingness to sacrifice for others.

After a life filled with memories, experiences, and the impact he made on those who knew and loved him, Mr. Silva completed his earthly assignment and transitioned from labor to reward.

Funeral Services will be held on: Friday, July 3, 2026, at 9:00 AM from the Ralph Harrington Memorial Chapel - 713 Lake Park Road, Valdosta, Georgia.

Following the celebration of his life, Committal Services with Military Honors will take place at: 12:00 Noon from the Tallahassee National Cemetery, Tallahassee, Florida.
