Mrs. Lillie Faye Forte, 91, of Jackson, Mississippi, was born on January 25, 1935, in Fernwood, Mississippi, to Louis Price and Johnny Walker Price. A devoted educator, Mrs. Forte dedicated many years of her life to teaching and positively impacting the lives of countless students throughout her career.

She passed peacefully on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Manhattan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by the memories of a life well lived. Mrs. Forte will be remembered for her wisdom, compassion, unwavering commitment to education, and the lasting legacy she leaves with her family, friends, former students, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
