OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, July 3, 2026 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Milton Freeman, Sr., affectionately known by his family and friends as “Boo-Boo”, 52, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at Opelousas General Health System in Opelousas, LA.

Mr. Freeman’s memories are being cherished by: his three sons, Milton Freeman, Jr. of Orange, TX, Jvontae Freeman and Jvontaeves Freeman, both of Opelousas, LA; one daughter, Jasmine Freeman (James) of Opelousas, LA; two sisters, Merricka Robertson (Timothy) of Opelousas, LA and Lee Anna Pitre (Terry) of Eunice, LA; seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his mother, Gertie Freeman; one daughter, Ashley Freeman; and two grandchildren, Kaylee Ardoin and Kevontrae Ardoin, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
