OPELOUSAS – A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Live Oak Baptist Church in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Clifford Earl Viltz, 70, who entered eternal rest on Monday, June 27, 2026 at his residence in Opelousas, LA.

Mr. Viltz’s memories are being cherished by: his daughter, Mary Olivia Viltz of New Orleans, LA; two brothers, Richard (Deborah) Viltz and John (Brenda) Viltz, both of Opelousas, LA; two sisters, and Gladys Hewing (Damon) of Kempner, TX, Juanita Slaughter of Ville Platte, LA; an uncle, Vincent (Janet) Watson of Michigan; a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his parents, Clifford Viltz and Mary Johnson Viltz; one brother, Joseph Michael Viltz; and one sister, Lorena Viltz.
