Celebration of Life Services for Ms. Darlene Sims, will be held Thursday, July 9, 2026, 11:00 A.M. at The Chapel of Donald Trimble Mortuary. Pastor Averick Walker Officiating, Eulogist. Interment, Westview Cemetery, Atlanta, GA. Public Viewing and Visitation will be held at the mortuary Wednesday, 12:00 NOON until 8:00 P.M. The family will be receiving relatives and friends at the funeral home from 6:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.

She leaves to cherish her memories, daughter, Shermon Sims; son, Mathew Sims; two grandsons, Malachi Monter and Emmanuel Hughes; three granddaughters, Naomi Hughes, Imani Hughes, and Peace Hughes; four sisters, Sylvia Sims, Vicky Sims-Johnson, Rita Sims, and Glynis Sims; one brother, Otis Sims and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the mortuary Thursday, at 10:30 A.M.
