Cameron Deon Wells was born August 11, 1998, in Blytheville, Arkansas, the son of Nitasha Wells and Phillip Cox. Cameron was a fun loving, intelligent, precocious young man who truly loved his family and friends and was equally loved by his parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Cameron was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert Cox and Dorothy Harris. He transitioned on Friday, July 3, 2026, at the age of 27.

Those left to cherish his memories are his parents, Nitasha Wells of Blytheville, Arkansas and Phillip Cox of Jonesboro, Arkansas; his brothers, Jeremiah Wells of Blytheville; Arkansas; Nicholas Brown of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Devon Smith also of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Jordan Brown of New Jersey; his sisters, Shaniya Cullins, and Haddassah Wells, both of Blytheville, Arkansas; Destiny Ratliff of Conway, Arkansas and Miracle Cox of New Jersey; his maternal grandparents, Cordell Wells, Sr. and Gwendolyn Joe, both of Blytheville, Arkansas; his “special friend”, Aaliyah Johnson of Jonesboro, Arkansas; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation and Celebration of Life Services are scheduled from Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at Frontline Family Outreach Ministries, 120 East Walnut Street, Blytheville, Arkansas, where Ministers Raymond and Mary Golphin are the pastors.
