Mr. Larry Douglas Hunter, 74, of Lincolnton, North Carolina, transitioned on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Lincolnton Rehabilitation Center.

He was born on November 18, 1951, to the late Johnson B. Hunter and Willie Mae Hill Hunter.

Larry was a proud United States Marine veteran and a graduate of Newbold High School.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Moore’s Chapel Baptist Church. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Rosenwald Municipal Cemetery.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at Ebony & White’s Funeral Service.
