Beverly Ann (Garrett) Deweber, aged 73, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Monday, July 6, 2026. Beverly was at home surrounded by family.
Services will be held Friday, July 10, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Bowie. Visitation begins at 9:00 a.m., followed by a service officiated by Ike Mercer and Mike Henson from 10:00am to 11:00 am. A graveside service will follow at Prairie Branch Cemetery in Bowie.
Beverly was born December 15, 1952, in Bowie, Texas to Raymond and Christine (Scruggs) Garrett. Beverly graduated from Bowie High School in 1971 where she met her lifelong sweetheart and future husband, Stephen Deweber. After high school, Beverly graduated from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. Beverly and Stephen married on July 14, 1973. Beverly and Stephen were blessed to have 52 wonderful years together until Stephen’s death on September 22, 2025.
Beverly loved the Lord and her family. Beverly had a passion for creativity and enjoyed quilting and cross-stitching. She also loved traveling with Stephen and her sons to the mountains of Colorado. For 43 years, Beverly and Stephen only missed one trip camping and fishing in Colorado alongside their friends Charles and Marilyn Kesseler of Sanger, Texas.
Beverly is preceded in death by her husband and her parents. Beverly is survived by her son and daughter- in-law Michael and Karen (Aycock) Deweber of Midland, Texas, her son Clint of Bowie, Texas, her sister Janice (Garrett) and brother-in-law Bob Perronot of Dallas, Texas and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Stephen’s name to the Building Fund or Youth Department at the First Baptist Church, Bowie, Texas.
