Shirley Jean Parisi

Shirley Jean Parisi, born on December 26, 1951, in Warren, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2026, in Youngstown, Ohio. She leaves behind cherished memories and a loving family, including her daughters, Tammy Parisi and Rosina (James) Robinson, her son, Gregory F. Parisi II, her sister, Susan Lukovich, and her cousins, Carolyn and Sandy Tasker.

Shirley embraced life with an extraordinary spirit. Her true passion shone brightly during her time at Heritage Manor Adult Day Care, where she found joy in attending and participating in activities alongside attentive staff and friends. Known for her fondness for the color purple and her love for butterflies, Shirley brought a touch of warmth and color to the lives of those around her, reminding us to appreciate the beauty in simplicity.

Shirley was preceded in death by her mother Helen Witek, father Edwin Witek, sister Katerine McDermott, granddaughter Qu’Wantierra Parisi and grandson Gregory Parisi III. Shirley’s legacy of love and kindness will forever reside in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.

A memorial service will be held in her honor at The Fresh Church, 2110 Glenwood Ave, on Friday July 10, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. with Bishop Cameron Bowman as the celebrant. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate Shirley’s life and the incredible impact she had on many.
