She stood at the doors with a welcoming smile, Guiding our steps down the holy aisle. In her Sunday best and with gloves of white, She made every guest feel the Father's light.

She served the Lord with a humble heart, Ready to help and a comfort to impart. Now she has passed through the grandest door, And serve at the throne forevermore.

Though we miss her presence on the floor, Her faithful service is honored evermore. Rest well, good servant, your shift is through, Heaven's great ushers now welcome you.
