Shirley Jean Thomas was born March 23, 1956, to the late Estella Mitchell Thomas and the late Clarence Thomas, Sr.

On July 18, 2026, God called Shirley Jean Thomas home, and she answered peacefully.

Shirley joined the church at a young age. She served in numerous organizations in the church.

Her memories will be cherished by her siblings: Clarence (Patricia) Thomas, Sr., Joseph Lamar Thomas, Wanda Thomas (James) Jackson, Jr., and Timothy Vatron Thomas; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.

Shirley bonus siblings: Freeman Ashley, Edward Ashley, Larry Ashley, Bernard Killebrew, Ricky Killebrew, Demetrius Paschal, and Kendall Killebrew.

Public viewing will be Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 2 pm to 6 pm at the funeral home.

A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 am, Friday, July 24, 2026, at Ross Grove Baptist Church, 1020 10th Ave. Augusta, Georgia 30901.

Interment will follow at South View Cemetery.
