REVEREND GEORGE BERNARD RORIE, age 67, of Wadesboro, North Carolina departed this life on Monday, July 20, 2026 at his residence.

The Homegoing Service will be on Monday, July 27, 2026, 1:00pm, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will follow in the family plot of the Henry Grove Baptist Church, Lilesville, North Carolina.

The family will greet family and friends on Monday, July 27, 2026 from 12:30-1:00pm and at all other times at the Rorie Homeplace, 3505 Vintage Road, Lilesville, North Carolina.

The public viewing will be on Sunday, July 26, 2026 from 1:00-4:00pm.
