Obituary For Mr. Randolph Anderson, Sr.

Florence - Funeral service for Mr. Randolph James Anderson, Sr. will be conducted 11:30AM Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at New Ebenezer Baptist Church, 307 S. Ravenel St., Florence. Interment will follow in Florence National Cemetery with the Veterans Honor Guard, directed by Smith Funeral Home of Florence, LLC.

Randolph, affectionately known by many as "Bunny", was born March 17, 1953 in Florence, SC to the late Mrs. Elizabeth Anderson-White and the late Mr. McKinley Godbolt, Sr. He died on Tuesday, March 12, 2019.

Randolph was educated in the Florence County Public Schools and was a graduate of Wilson High School Class of 1971. He served in the United States Army and was a retired Vietnam Veteran.

Randolph was employed with CSX Railroad and Merita Bakery. He retired from SAIA Motor Freight as a Line Haul Driver.

Randolph, an avid hunter, loved his hunting dogs, a member of the Pierce Hunting Club and was past President of Chosen Few Raccoon Hunting Club.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Kelly-Anderson; three children, Randolph (Shamala) Anderson II, Stephanie (Tron) Thomas and Charlene (Clifton) Coston; two stepchildren, Johnny Ray Allison II and Jessica Yvonne Allison; eight grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; three sisters, Juanita (Herman) Belin, Mary Frances White and Thelma Long; two brothers, McKinley Godbolt III and Mikel (Janie) Godbolt; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 3PM-8PM at 242 N. Pointe Dr., Florence
