Funeral service for Sallie Macon, 76, of Auburn, AL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 24, 2026, at True Deliverance Holiness Church, 936 N Donahue Drive, Auburn, Alabama 36832 with interment in Westview Cemetery, 700 West View Drive, Auburn, Alabama 36832, Bishop Nolan Torbert will officiate.

Ms. Macon, who passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama, was born October 2, 1949, in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 2:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.

Ms. Macon will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

She leaves to cherish her memory: five children, Rachel Jones, Melissa Johnson, Bobby (Belinda) Jackson all of Auburn, AL, Anthony (Camerial) Rowe of Salem, AL and Christopher Macon of Auburn, AL; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Christine Calloway of Fairburn, GA and Della Walters of Gulfport, MS; one brother, Alphonzo (Martha) Walters of Auburn, AL; one brother-in-law, Ellis Williams of Opelika, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, church family and friends.

The family of the late Ms. Sallie Pearl Macon acknowledges with grateful appreciation all acts of kindness, prayers, cards, telephone calls, flowers, and words of comfort extended to us during our time of bereavement. May God bless each one of you.
