Jermaine Antonio Danford entered into rest on July 20,2026. He was born on June 14, 1981, in Richmond County to the late Thomas Howard and Annie Mary Danford.

Celebration of Life Services will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. at James & Virginia Davis Chapel, located at 727 Beech Street, Louisville, Georgia 30434. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant C.M.E Church Cemetery, 1009 Scruggs Circle, Bartow, GA 30414. Public viewing will be held Monday, July 27, 2026, from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Davis Funeral Home, 725 Beech Street, Louisville, Georgia 30434.

Jermaine attended Jefferson County High School. Throughout his career, he dedicated himself to serving and caring for others. He was previously employed with Glendale Nursing Home in Wadley, Georgia, and Old Capital Inn Nursing Home in Louisville, Georgia for several years. Later, he worked part-time at Waynesboro Hospital before making his move to Atlanta, Georgia.

A man of faith, Jermaine was a member of James Temple AME Church in Bartow, Georgia.

Jermaine was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Thomas Howard and Annie Mary Danford; his sister, Monica Michelle Danford; and his grandmother, Rosa Lee Danford.

He leaves behind a rich legacy of love and family. Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife, Jocelyn Giles Danford; his loving children, Makayla L. Danford (Wrens, GA), Brandon Jones, Demeisha Giles, Jamiya Danford, Nabreya Danford, and Jermaine A. Danford Jr. (Atlanta, GA); and three precious grandchildren: Kayson Sanders, Kaiden Sanders, and Mazi Jones (Atlanta, GA).

He is also survived by his sisters, Gale (Horace) Turner, Patricia Danford, Cora Bell (Wadley, GA), Cynthia Reese, Carolyn Gilmore (Louisville, GA), and Dinelle Fields (Jacksonville, FL); his brothers, Morris Danford, Anthony Danford, and John Howard (Wadley, GA); his devoted brother, Reggie Johnson (Wadley, GA); his aunt, Bobbie Ann Fann; and uncles, Willie (Bessie) Danford, Arthur (Josephine) Danford, and Otis (Shirley) Danford.

Jermaine will also be forever remembered by a host of loving nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
