Bernard’s Family Funeral Care, The Eatonton Chapel announces with heartfelt sympathy the passing of Mrs. Martha Powell of Eatonton, Georgia.

Mrs. Powell peacefully transitioned from this life on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by the peace and familiarity of those she loved.

Viewing and visitation for Mrs. Martha Powell will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Bernard’s Family Funeral Care, The Eatonton Chapel, 103 Willie Bailey Street, Eatonton, Georgia 31024.

A Celebration of Life Service honoring Mrs. Powell will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at Union Baptist Church, 240 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Eatonton, Georgia 31024.

Interment and committal services will follow at St. Luke AME Cemetery (also known as the Farley Family Cemetery) on Gray Highway.
