MR. WALTER JAMES MYERS, 74, of Wadesboro, North Carolina peacefully departed this life on Friday, July 24, 2026 at Atrium Health Hospice of Union County, Monroe, North Carolina, with his loving and devoted wife and daughter at his side.

The Homegoing Services will be on Friday, July 31, 2026, 11:00am, Smith's Memorial Chapel, 604 Salisbury Street, Wadesboro, North Carolina. Interment will follow at Anson Memorial Park, 2207 NC-742 Wadesboro, North Carolina. They will greet family and friends 30 minutes before the service (10:30-11:00am).

The Myers Family will receive friends at the residence on TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY (July 28 and July 29) from 1:00-6:00 PM. They will NOT be receiving friends on Monday and Thursday.
