She is survived by her beloved Robert Rennie of the home; daughter, Sheria Brown and son-in-law, Napoleon Brown; sister, Zenobia Holmes; three grandchildren, Michael Herring, Jr., Colorado, Taijon Gordon and Shakyah King of New Bern; eight great-grandchildren; aunt, Naomi Becton Banks (Jake); uncle, James Barnes.
