OFFICIAL NOTICE OF EARTHLY TRANSITION - “Crossing the Bar”

With profound sorrow, yet unwavering faith in the promises of Almighty God, we respectfully announce the earthly transition of Mrs. Doris Fleming Smith, of Valdosta, Georgia.

Mrs. Smith was born on December 14, 1950, and after a life marked by grace, love, and cherished memories, she peacefully crossed the Golden Bar and entered eternal rest on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at the age of 75.

As she has now exchanged the cares of this earthly life for the eternal peace prepared by our Heavenly Father, we celebrate a life well lived and a legacy that will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her. Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we rejoice in the assurance that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

During this season of bereavement, we ask that you lift the Smith and Fleming families in your prayers, asking God to grant them His perfect peace, comfort, strength, and sustaining grace in the days ahead.
