Rossie Mae Hill Simmons was born January 28, 1939 to the late Beulah Bell Harp and Henderson Hill of Albany, GA. She was married to the late Edmund Simmons Sr. She Attended Booker High School. Rossie peacefully departed this life July 28, 2026.

Rossie leaves to cherish her memories: son, Edmund Simmons Jr.; daughter, Joyce Bryant (Roger); three sisters, Many Fabian, Eula Oren, and the late Louise Taylor all of Sarasota, FL; 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Fri., August 7, 2026 at Jones Funeral. Services will be held 2:00pm on Sat., August 8, 2026 at World Hope Christian Center. Funeral arrangements by Jones Funeral Home.
