Mother Young relocated to Fort Pierce in 1993 from West Haven, CT. Upon retirement where she was a presser. During her life, the church was her life. She was converted at the early age of 17. In Connecticut, she was a Sunday School teacher, Youth Department Coordinator, and the president for many years in Connecticut of COGIC Usher Board. At St. Mark, she was active on the mothers board.
