Nashville - Age 89 completed his earthly journey on Saturday, March 23, 2019.

Preceded in death by his loving wife the Late Elease Spann Williams. Rev. Charles E. Williams was a retired teacher and administrator for Metropolitan Nashville Public School system.

He was also a Minister for the United Methodist Church retiring after many years of service in the pastoral field. Rev. Charles E. Williams is survived by his son Carlos (Cynthia) Williams, Grandson: Alex Williams of Nashville, TN. Sisters: Miriam Ancel (Donald) Knowles; Mary Collie; Laurencene McSweeny; Nassau, Bahamas. Brothers-in-law: William (Rosalind); Thomas (Sylvia) Spann; Nashville, TN and Robert Williams of Titusville, FL. Sisters-in-law: Linda (Pete) Cloyd of Nashville TN. and Charlotte Williams of Nassau, Bahamas. Niece: Elease (Kelvin) Jenkins, Nashville, TN. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Viewing & visitation: Friday April 5, 2019 from 2p.m. to 6p.m. at Terrell Broady Funeral Home. Visitation on Saturday April 6, 2019 from 10 am to 11 a.m. with services to follow starting at 11 a.m. at Gordon Memorial United Methodist Church. Terrell Broady Funeral Home.
