Obituary For Mrs. Rosabelle Worrell

Mrs. Rosabelle Worrell passed. Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 27, 2019 11:00 am at White Oak Hills Baptist Church 5171 Redan Road Stone Mountain, GA 30088.

Rosabelle Worrell was born on July 2, 1924 in Castries, Saint Lucia to Charles and Euphita Innocent. She was the sixth child of nine siblings. She was proceeded in life by her dad, mom, four of her siblings, her husband, her daughter and her son. After completing high school and working she meets Modeste and had a son Gregory. She migrated to Barbados where she worked as a domestic. She met and married Darnley Worrell in 1959. Rosabelle keep working and caring for her three small children while providing for her son she left with her family in St. Lucia. Rosabelle migrated to the United States in 1968, where she continued to work and provide for her four children until she could bring them to the United States with her. After many years in the Bronx, New York, she moved to Lithonia, Georgia in 2007, to live with her daughter w here she continue to meet and steal the hearts of all she came into contact with. She was a woman of faith who loved God and read her bible daily. She began attending White Oak Hills Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Albert Holmes with her daughter. She enjoyed going to Sunday school and church every Sunday. She soon was known as Grandma Rosie, Ms.Rosa and Ms. Innocent to many. She enjoyed traveling, watching cricket and hanging with the boys through the cricket club, Conrad Hunte Community & Cricket Club Atlanta where her daughter is the secretary. She also enjoyed being part of the Bruce Street Senior Center which she attended Monday through Friday. In 2016, she fell and broke her hip but bounced back to walk into White Oak Hills Baptist Church, Conrad Hunte Community & Cricket Club Atlanta, and Bruce street Senior Center to the amazement of everyone. In October 2018 she suffered a slight stroke which she was recovering from and beginning to walk again and attend her Sunday school class and church service, when she suffered a seizure which left her incapacitated and under hospice care at home. Rosabelle was a very generous and caring person who gave of what little she had to those around her. She was truly loved and cared for by so many people who enjoyed having a conversation with her. Rosabelle Worrell leaves to mourn her passing her daughter Sheryl, her sons Gregory, Dave and Frank (Whereabouts unknown). Fourteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews; countless relatives and friends, and so many others who touched her life and whose lives she touched. Rosabelle, Ms. Rosie, Ms. Rosa, Grandma or Ms. Innocent you will be deeply missed.
