Obituary For Rachel Ellen Mack

Rachel E. Mack, was born on June 29, 1941 to the late William G. Wise, Sr. and Nancy Wise Ackelberry. She departed this life on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at her home surrounded by the love of her family at the age of 77. Her favorite quote was: “Blessings on You”

She married the late Thomas W. Mack, Sr. in 1966 and moved to Fort Pierce, Florida. She was educated in the public schools of Worchester County and was an active member of New Mount Zions M.B. Church for over 34 years. “Ms. Mack” was last employed and retired from the Ft. Pierce Police Department as a School Crossing Guard.

She was an active member of the JC Mission of Hope ministry and the Mother Bernice Gibson Scholarship Foundation where she served giving back to the community.

Ms. Mack is survived by her children to cherish her memories: 4 daughters- Debora (Tony) Avant, Alfonsie (Derrick) Wise, Rachel M. Mack and Stephanie Mack; 2 sons- Raymond Wise and Anthony T. Mack, Sr.; 9 grandchildren- Tony Avant, Jr., Lerry Smith, Jr. Charles Thurston III, Thomas Stevens, Janie Watkins, Rayshawn Wise, Cedano Johnson and Natalie Francois; 7 great grandchildren- Jayden Nedd, Jordan Delices, Sincere Gray, Aniyah Mack, Giovanni Stevens, Aamir Gray and Karianna Mack Hightower; 2 brothers- William G. (Dale) Wise, Jr., Henry (Roxie)Wise.

Public visitation for Ms. Rachel Mack will tack place on Friday, April 19, 2019 from 4pm-7pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Funeral services will convene on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 1:00pm. Burial will immediately follow in Riverview Memorial Park in Fort Pierce, FL.
